Position Overview: Reports To: Manager, Administrative Services Supervisory Responsibility: None Contact: Daily, substantive contact with internal staff and external clients. Responsibilities: * Responsible for preparation of electronic documents which support PhysicianClaim Insight appeals, DentalClaim Insight claims, appeals and pre authorizations - including collection, copying and scanning, storage and retrieval and distribution, as assigned. * Assist in FacilityClaim Insight and DRG claims processing as needed (build spreadsheets and insert data for audit purposes for use by the Administrative Services Assistant II, Clinical Auditor, and Supervisor, Administrative Services). * Completes ancillary projects as assigned from Administrative Support Manager or Administrative Support Supervisor. * Aid front office employee in incoming and outgoing mail processing. * Provide back-up for front office / receptionist duties and responsibilities when required. * Responsible for ordering and maintaining basic office supplies as directed. * Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan. * Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned. * Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years experience preferred. * Positive can-do attitude with a great set of core values. * Accurate typing and data entry skills. Ability to type 50 WPM. * Basic knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office applications. * Proficient knowledge in the use of office equipment such as copiers, fax machines and scanners. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Effective communicator in a team environment where complimentary efforts create overall success.
