Job Description
General Function:
Contributes to the maintenance and support of the Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system including data management, configuration, customizations, security, daily monitoring, troubleshooting and analysis, dashboards and reports, release management, and system documentation. Participates in the design and deployment of solutions to enhance end-user productivity and improve adoption. Leverages the CRM application, Force.com platform, Salesforce CRM community, and applications on the AppExchange marketplace to solve real-life business problems. Relies on instructions and guidance from senior project team members and from direct supervisors.
Essential Functions:
1. Participates in the management of the CRM in all environments using standard Salesforce.com setup, monitoring, and maintenance.
2. Creates and manages custom objects, fields, formulas, analytic reports and dashboards per business requirements.
3. Develops and maintains custom validation rules and workflows.
4. Participates in the integration process with other enterprise systems.
5. Audits, uncovers, and resolves data integrity issues.
6. Performs bulk imports, updates, and exports of data.
7. Monitors user adoption rates and system activity; responds as needed with modifications, additional user training, or communications.
8. Recommends best practices for Salesforce.com design and configuration.
9. Recommends, tests, deploys, and maintains Visual Force pages.
10. Recommends, tests, deploys, and maintains Apex classes and triggers.
11. Manages Salesforce mobile configurations and assists users with installation and setup.
12. Institutes system downtime procedures and communicates system outages.
13. Updates status on assigned tasks using the defined project methodology and tools.
14. Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications
Experience required:
1 year CRM applicable work experience
Basic spreadsheet and data manipulation abilities.
Basic knowledge of Salesforce.
Basic knowledge of SQL or SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language).
