Description:
The Security Guard is responsible for observing, reporting, and documenting all security related incidents occurring at the hospital. The guard is to be aware of all suspicious and possible criminal activities. The guard's duties consist of; rounds of the property, report writing, Morgue procedures, Helipad assists, parking enforcement, on-floor assists, escorts, answering calls, responding to emergency codes/alarms, enforcement of hospital policies, and performing any/all other associated tasks and functions required of security.
Key Accountabilities / Competencies
1. Assists with Helipad duties, morgue procedures, parking enforcement, on-floor assistants, employee/patient escorts and responds to all emergency codes/alarms.
2. Responsible to complete regularly scheduled rounds of the property and document any areas of concern.
3. Responsible to observe, report and document all security related incidents per department protocal.
4. Responsible to perform any and all other associated tasks and functions requested/required of security to provide a safe environment for all who come in contact with the Hospital premises.
Qualifications:
Minimum position requirement is that you must hold a current State issued Security Officer license within 90 days of hire.
High school or equivalent preferred.
College degree preferred.
One + years of security related experience.
