PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE To provide an extraordinary parking experience by providing an efficient, professional and fun parking experience for every guest who arrives at Canyons. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Guide our guests and guides to extraordinary experiences. Adhere to and promote Canyons culture of PRIDE.Proactively greet and welcome all guests with enthusiasm.Seek out guests who may need assistanceBe informed and proactively describe and explain activities, events, programs and services to guests.Assist guests with ski and snowboard equipment as necessary.Assist guests in loading/unloading jitney. Ride in jitney with the guests providing information and a welcoming atmosphere.Carry trail maps, resort reports and field guide at all times.Daily setup and take down of directional traffic cones, barricades and signs.Direct guests in parking their vehicles in an efficient manner to ensure maximum use of space and safety of parking facilities.Direct and monitor traffic to ensure safety of parking lots and roadways.Maintain clean parking area.Assist guests with resolving vehicle related problems.Work closely with Public Safety and Engineering departments to provide safe and efficient parking areas.Take and assess guest complaint/problems or special requests and provide on-the-spot resolutionPerform other tasks as assigned.This position reports directly to the Parking Supervisor. REQUIREMENTS Exposure to inclement weather conditionsHigh School education or equivalent.Heavy lifting, bending, squattingAbility to stand and walk outside for extended periods of time. QUALIFICATIONS Ability and willingness to converse clearly and comfortably with a variety of different types of guests.Positive and enthusiastic attitude.Knowledge of Canyons and local area preferred.
