Job Description
Raindance Partners, a national recruiting firm based in California, is exclusively contracted by our hospitality client in Park City, Utah to source and qualify candidates for their open Sous Chef position.
Overview
We are seeking a Sous Chef for our mid-size Forbes 4-Star resort client in Park City, Utah. In this position you would work alongside a renowned Executive Chef in a refined luxury European-style kitchen. You would be responsible for leading the dinner service for a popular and well-reviewed 3 meal-a-day restaurant. This property is open year round with high-season during the winter months.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years in a Sous Chef position; or 5+ years in a lead cook role.
Track record of success in managing a team of culinary professionals in a high-end environment
Experience in a fast-paced, demanding kitchen environment
Hospitality experience preferred, but upscale restaurant background also appropriate
Culinary degree and apprenticeship preferred
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily PM dinner shift for a refined luxury restaurant
Work hands-on the line
Supervise, train and mentor a team of 5+ line cooks. Assist in hiring.
Schedule and budget appropriately based on hotel business needs
Maintain safe working environment and compliance with health codes
