Are you looking for a multi-use target setup that will last but also allows you to shoot cardboard, steel, or both? Whether you shoot for competition, law enforcement/Military, self defense, or just for fun I have a target system for you.
The Target Stand- The stand is made of 1?X2? steel tubing. The stand is 18? long by 22.5? wide and has a 18.5? cross bar with posts to accommodate IPSC, IDPA, USPSA, etc style cardboard targets, although any piece of cardboard will do. The cardboard is attached to 1?X2? wooden furring strips by staples. The center post is 2?X2? by 6? high. The stand also features thumb screws to secure the furring strips, end caps on the legs and drilled holes in the legs in case you ever wanted to stake it down. The stand also comes painted.
The Target- The Target is made of 3/8? AR500 and are cut from a CNC laser. The target is 7?X11.8? and weighs in at 7.5 pounds. The target is mounted by a 1/2? carriage bolt. When mounted to the bracket the target is pitched forward by 10 degrees so that the bullet fragmentation is directed to the ground and not back at you. The target is great for handgun and small caliber rifle use. Minimum distance for handgun is 10 yards; minimum distance for rifle such as .223/5.56 is 100 yards.
As you can see in the pictures, the target stand gives you the versatility to configure your targets the way you want them.

WARNING: Always wear ear and eye protection and observe minimum distances when shooting steel. Although the steel target is pitched forward to direct splatter to the ground there is no guarantee splatter does not come back in the direction of the shooter.
