Come join Oracle! Oracle is significantly growing our software support engineering teams based in Sandy / Lehi, Utah. Oracle offers an opportunity to use a combination of technical and functional skills focused on Oracle cloud technologies. There is significant training on Oracle-specific technologies and excellent opportunity for impact and advancement. Business lines include Fusion Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), PeopleSoft, Human Capital Management (HCM) and AppsTech.
In the Application Support Engineer role, you will interact with key customer and Oracle development teams to fully understand, document, and troubleshoot areas for improvement in the Oracle offering. The Application Support Engineer will work to create solutions and/or escalate issues where necessary to ensure complete customer satisfaction. In this role, you will use communication, technical and functional skills daily. Work is dynamic and fast-paced. Personal and profession growth is inevitable.
This position may require shift work, specifically 12:00 - 8:30pm.
Key Qualifications:
Must have BS degree or higher. CIS, MIS, CS degrees are ideal. Functional degrees, such as HR, Finance, etc. can also be excellent fits.
Strong preference for past application support experience. Work can be in CRM, HCM, AppsTech tools, or some subset of those tools.
Strong preference for technical skill. Job leveling will be considered for greater technical aptitude. Key technical skills include: SQL, Java, ADF, IDE, XML, SOA, and Weblogic server administration
Business Intelligence Analytics experience is helpful with products like Oracle Discoverer, Siebel Analytics, Hyperion Essbase, or Financials
Local candidates preferred.
