St. Mark's Hospital is looking for an experienced Mammography Technologist to join our Women's Diagnostic team on an 'as-needed' basis! This position performs a variety of mammographic examinations that often require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to best demonstrate the anatomy of interest. Must have a working knowledge of life-saving techniques and be capable of performing well under pressure. Assumes the responsibility for specified examinations and introducing the basics of mammography to student techs. Mammography Techs are responsible for the assessment, treatment, or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served. Demonstrates ability to intrepret information in terms of the patient's needs.
