We want you to join us in the special and rewarding work we are so fortunate to be a part of every day - join Ellucian and be inspired!Position ResponsibilitiesPosition is located in our Salt Lake City, UT office - relocation IS provided.up to 50% travel to our clients' locationsJob DescriptionService Portfolio Consultant, Professional Services will be responsible for building, maintaining and growing a portfolio of SaaS implementation services, partnering closely with Product Management, Sales and Software Development to support Ellucian go to market strategies for all of Ellucian's Comptency Based Education and Learning Management (CBE/LMS) software solutions.This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual and a dynamic leader who is looking for the opportunity to take ownership of building Ellucian's CBE/LMS portfolio of services to help higher education institutions evolve the learning experience for their students.Job Responsibilities Partner closely with Development and Product Management to build Service packages and offering around Ellucian's Comptency Based Education and Learning Management (CBE/LMS) software solutions Work with Product Management and Marketing to understand go-to-market strategy and support readiness activities related to CBE solutions Maintain current and accurate information related to SOWs, Price Guides and documents to support the successful delivery of CBE/LMS solutions Learn and become the expert in delivering services and implementing CBE/LMS solutions Meet individual targeted billable utilization requirement Continually evolve and improve our services in order to meet customers' needs and ensure successful implementations During the pursuit cycle scope new business and develop appropriate sales documents to support scope and delivery Respond to RFPs and proposals for assigned portfolio Drive growth strategies to enable services to be delivered by consulting teams in assigned portfolio Work closely with Sales team to drive increased business for CBE/LMS solutions Ensure teams are delivery ready to successfully deliver solutions Demonstrate flexibility with the sales teams by crafting solutions during the sales cycle that meet or exceed our internal/external client expectations Recognized as a subject-matter expert and thought leader in CBE/LMS solutionsPosition RequirementsJob Requirements Bachelor's degree required Previous experience building and delivering services for SaaS based applications Experience working with clients to understand their unique needs and developing the appropriate service offerings to support their implementation Strong project management, organizational, and client facing skills Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently Passion for technology and software is a must Demonstrated aptitude for logical application of problem solving techniques. Ability to deconstruct complex issues to identify root cause Strong problem solving abilities Focus and experience in achieving client outcomes Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong presentation skills and ability to present to Executive leadership Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a corporate credit card and a driver's license Ability to work independently.Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience: Knowledge of Ellucian's Implementation Methodology Previous experiencing selling services Knowledge and experience in developing competency based education cources and curriculum Operations background and ability to manage a team of consultants Previous experience working with and implementing Learning Management Systems.
