Video Software Engineer - C++, MPEG-4, MPEG, MPEG Dash, Apple's HLS, Microsoft Smooth Stream, and Adobe HDS
Based in Draper, UT , we're a cloud solutions based company that provides the highest quality video encoding solutions. We provide highly scalable cloud and server based encoding solutions and desktop applications. Due to recent growth efforts, we're looking for an experienced Video Software Engineer that has expertise in one of the following areas: MPEG-4, MPEG, MPEG Dash, Apple's HLS, Microsoft Smooth Stream, and Adobe HDS.
We're looking for a self-driven software engineer to contribute to the design and development of a sophisticated client / web server application. The client will run on a number of devices from computers and Smart TV's to customer hardware. This application will be the glue in a system to ingest, process, store, and deliver large amounts of data.
You'll be collaborating closely with other data and video engineers to ensure that the system satisfies requirements and is robust and scalable.

What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- C++
- Strong understanding of object-oriented development
- Video Processing (MPEG-4, MPEG, MPEG Dash, Apple's HLS, Microsoft Smooth Stream, and Adobe HDS)
- MySQL
- Linux
Not required- Nice to Have Skills:
- REST API development experience.
- Cloud experience / AWS
- Digia Qt UI development experience.
- Agile/ Scrum development experience
- Experience working with continuous integration tools
